Hello everyone,
My true name is Alex, and I have been involved with modeling since around 1958......YOU do the math...lol. I am happily married to the same lovely lady since 1982, and we have a terrific daughter, who, by the way, also builds models.
I build whatever trips my trigger, but mostly competition cars, fat-fendered cars, street and hot rods. I have a rather extensive collection of unbuilt models of all sorts (saving for my retirement), and do a lot of commission builds.
I founded the Adrenaline Drag Racing forum which deals, mostly, with the earlier years of drag racing. But we dabble a little in the other automotive modeling venues as well. I am also a moderator on a few other forums and groups as well.
I created this forum for you, the hot rod/rat rod/jalopy/junker guys and gals as an alternative outlet to some of the other forums. And I DO have to give kudos to Clay Gratz, aka geezerman, for planting the seed of creativity for this. My only hope is that it lives up to his expectations.
I think I have bored you enough. Now let's go have some fun.
