hello, everyone......
The Prodigal Son returns. Yes, I AM back. For the past year and a half I have been working as an auto service center facility manager, which meant that I ran the WHOLE show and was responcible for everything that went on inside and outside of my shop. I was putting in 16 hour days, six days a week and on the seventh, I was preparing weekly inventory reports, budget reports, training reports.......well you get the picture. And I can't forget the hour's drive to work, and the hour's drive to get home, either.
To make a long story short, I have been neglectful of this and my other forums. The dust got to be almost an inch thick on my workbench, and I was miserable. I sat down with my wife, and we talked things over. As the result of our talking, the current state of BOTH our healths, we both concurred (actually Chris's recommendations and pleadings)....I AM NOW RETIRED. So I will be here and the other forums much more frequently. I am re-introducing myself the the art of relaxing, taking care of Chris (she's had a couple of strokes), and dipping into the stash and actually BUILDING SOMETHING.
So for the long absence, but I am here to contribute a bit more, now.
