Getting into the other kit I got last xmas. This will be no big deal. Just planning a beater PU to set out front in the garage backdrop with a for sale sign on it. I'm keeping the neat Ardun Flathead for a future hot rod build, so I put a small block Ford in this one. And rusting it

Waiting until I can get some more red oxide to continue with the rusting, I turned to another section. IMHO, nothing simulates wood like wood, so I cut out faux wood portion of the bed. Made a couple of supports and, viola, wasn't as bad as I expected.

I've got a roller now. After crudding up the 302 to make it beater worthy and having to screw with the frame to get all 4 wheels on the ground. I can go after that almost virgin white body now.

Starting to do the deed on the body parts. I have some places in baking soda'd rust base and the body color sprayed. Ready for the refining process to get this beater looking beat !
