Ok, I posted the Jalopy racer in the wrong catagory, it should have been here. It had the front clip from the AMT 40 Plymouth coupe. Rest of the story is, that the Ply body sat for some years because I thought it was too homely to do anything with. Meanwhile I had built a (Mad Magazine) funny car without the body. Finally, after a period of time, needing something to do, I thought I woud modify the homely Ply into a funny car and mate it to the Mad Magazine chassis. Unfortunately, there are hardly any WIP fotos. Needless to say, the Ply got piecut and hacked and stretched like you wouldn't believe: the result:
