I'm about to start back on the dio some. I feel like I should be posting something in this forum. After all, I seem to be the only one active in an administrator position. Any way this piece is rather crude because I hope to engulf it in weed growth. It was a chopped T coupe (don't particularly care for them anyway) that I unchopped. Will be getting back to this soon.

Unchopped a chopped T!!! You're crazy!!! Not the first time, I unchopped a R&RoM Resin one that was given to me some time ago. ;D But back to the dio. I decided where to place this, another junker, and the outhouse. Started weeding

I sure do seem to jump around on this build. Now looka here, I put very little effort into detailing the underside of a model car, yet today, I put brown craft paper [headliner] on the underside of the shed roof, waterstained and ripped down some hangy parts !!!!! Who in the world's ever gonna notice this Sometimes, even I, wonder about me I did get the back wall and the door portals on it also.

Detail matters, and we who enjoy your scale worlds DO care! All the work and skill amaze and inspire. The barn find needs only flat tires to be perfect. Good luck and many thanks!

Working with these weeds, I am realising that I have had anal itching that was less agravating than this. My last experiment with trying to preserve weeds was dipping them in tinted Pledge, thinking that being encased in acrylic should be just the berries. But the opposite happened. They turned extremely brittle. My earlier batches soaked in thinned oilbased paint are in much better shape. (info, In case anyone is thinking of trying this) . But, I'm pressing on, weeding the junker alongside the shed.

Some of them I have on the tree have been sprayed with hair spray. Somewhat stable, but they're touchy also

I'm never gonna get the really overgrown look I want with the way I'm doing this. Running out of suitable weed material also. Got me to pondering. Early on in this post I commented on not wanting a phony Model RR look with litchen and the like. Probably a lot of you would have to get litchen from yer local hobby shop. My LHS is 30 miles away. However, I can walk down my road 150 feet or so, turn into the woods, and will come upon a mother lode within 20/30 feet. I thought I'd see what I could do with some this morning, I took a sprig and sprayed it with brown primer. I then sprayed the sprig with spray glue and dipped it in some crumbled brittle weed leaves. Planted it in the front corner with a couple of other weeds. Not too bad. Will have to make up some more ;D
