First of all I want to apologize me late how to on hinges. Carefully cut out the doors with the back of a new Xacto blade 11. 1. These are the tools and materials that you need www.carsntrucks4you.de/images/how to hinge/tools.jpg[/img] I use 0.008" strips that I got in a local craft store. Check out Michael's or other craft store near by you. I had also used copper strips instead of aluminum strips. 0.032 brass rod is used as the bolt 2. Cut 0.08" to 0.1" of equal length. Keep in mind that you need 2 strips per hinge. www.carsntrucks4you.de/images/how to hinge/1.jpg[/img] 3. Use a round plier to bend the strip half round www.carsntrucks4you.de/images/how to hinge/2.jpg[/img] 4. Next place the round brass rod in the half round . Use the flat plier to fix the rod and the half round strip and bend the strip to a full round. www.carsntrucks4you.de/images/how to hinge/3.jpg[/img] 5. Repat above steps for the second strip. Bend the strip around the thickness of the door, so taht you get a right angle. Keep in mind contur of the body. This could mean that the lower hinges stick far more out of the body than the upper hinges. Take your time. www.carsntrucks4you.de/images/how to hinge/4.jpg[/img] 6. Glue both hinges (upper and lower) to the body or the doors first. Ailing them with a long piece of rod through both hinges. After the glue had set remove the rod. Place the second part of the upper hinge on the rod and push the rod back to the glued upper hinge. (Think about to that both upper parts of the hinges are on the same side. I usually have them on the door. ) Repeat this with the lower hinge. Next put the door in the body and fix it with tape. It is possible that you have to remove some material in the area of the hinges on the body. Glue carefully the lower part of the hinges to the body. www.carsntrucks4you.de/images/how to hinge/6.jpg[/img] 7. After the glue had set remove the tape and try to open the door. (Hopefully it opens otherwise to much glue. Then you had start again.) Cut pieces of rod slightly longer that both parts of the hinge. Glue the rods into the upper parts of both hinges. Less glue is better choice. And you are finished www.carsntrucks4you.de/images/how to hinge/5.jpg[/img] I hope that I had explain the steps good enough. If you need more information you are welcome

no problem with the paint job as the layers of paint and texture will serve the model well. I love the heavy weld where the body is re-assembled after the chop. a nice detail ,tom
