'55 Chevy Gasser

Started this one awhile back, but never finished it. It's a 55 Chevy Bel Air Gasser. This guy has been working on a low budget for awhile and up grades, when he gets a little card money.
Got this kit, along with 2 others, awhile back of the TraK forum. They had all been sprayed, with no primer and soaked for weeks in Deep Purple with minor results. So decided to sand off the chrome strips and do the weathered look.








Decided to go with a blown 454.

Basic racing = cool
Cars are way more interesting than the big bucks racing that Drags have evolved into.

Thanks Clay. Got that material from a Spanish Teacher. Made some progress on the decals today.
