Hi Guys,
Thought I'd put up a project I'm working on at the moment - if you have been on the Scale Model Addict forum then you would have seen it there as well.
The idea behind this build was from watching "Storage Wars" - I had an unfinished Tamiya Mini, did not know what to do with it, but then I came across the Italeri 20 foot container and this is the end result.
Original idea
Here are the latest updates as of last weekend...
That is all I have done so far - off to a model show on Saturday so will not have much time this weekend to do anymore - hope to pick a few additional items for this and other dioramas I have in mind to make.
Thanks for stopping by.
Questions and or comments welcome
Cheers
Richard

Original idea
Base board with polystyrene sheets | How the mini will look inside |
Another view of the Mini - its now I relealised that it will be to dark to see inside. | Gluing the sheets down |
Covered the sheets in clay and the Concrete base for the container with plaster | Started on the vegetation for the base, container given rust colour base coat |
Light switch installed - need to over it or hide it in something... | Light on in the container - will add shelves and work bench and general man stuff inside |
Here are the latest updates as of last weekend...
Added a green coat the container, this will be rusted using various products | Decided to hide the light switch in a skip - scratch built from plastic card |
Another view | Another view of the skip - this will be rusted as well. |
Starting to add general rubbish to the base, barrells etc - I hope to add car parts as well | Overview of the base. |
