I'm gonna try to salvage this cool little model. It's in pretty good shape. Not a glue bomb, just kinda of a basket case. The small instruction sheet is pretty yellowed, so I'm guessing this isn't a very new model.

Not sure I have the parts for a cage, Bob. I'll have to look closer. There are a couple of small bars in that plastic tub.

Freshening up the engine, and have 1 rear tire fixed. You'd think having designed and produced such neat framework, the die makers could have gotten the circumference of two piece rear tires within 1/64 inch of each other !!

It looks like 2 different tires used to make one wider one. ha. That's so off.

Today's lucky find. For exhaust dumps, in the huge salvage pile ! I won't have to use elbow macaroni !

Chassis up on wheels. Just have the body left to paint . OOps, Have to get the front of the left header in place.

Well, I have a white base coat on it, Bob, And had just planned to slap a number on it and maybe some sponsor decals, but really ain't all that anxious to finish it.
