Been shying away from the zombie aspect in my apocalypse series, but now the time is ripe and I'm calming the festering in my brain.\ Some time ago. I got into writing some zombie poetry with one of my grandsons...Limericks and Haiku. Unless Skid sits on me, I'll be boring you all with some of them as I build." A mind is a terrible thing to waste", I think I can prove that mine has been wasted for some time !
The zombie who’s known as Abdul Was renown in the mosque as a fool. Virgins he claimed , after being horribly maimed Were useless ‘cause he blew off his tool. Gathering stuff that I may be using.
I'll be using the Willys body (that's all I have of it) and one of those hoods, The gold plastic frame of unknown origin, pickup box (for gathering up the carcasses), and that yellow auger type tool ( whatever that came from )!
Grave yard gate looms big Skinbags passing other side Tee Hee I'll jump out

There was a young zombie that died by eating something she’d fried. She went to Saint Peter, He stepped out to greet her, And said something about his Rolodex and screwed up the whole meter, so I’ll set this whole limerick aside Trying to fit up several hoods to this Willys. This 48 Ford is the closest, but still not good enough for further messing with ! I'll get some better (serious) induction and go hoodless !!

The zombies came on like a flood. Walking and slogging thru mud. Their feet were all caked, and their skin was all flaked. And , generally, they all looked like crud!
Not much new. Working on getting the frame on wheels. Shortening a PU bed ( less carcasses to hold, but looks better)

The zombie walks round in his shroud while his flesh spores away in a cloud. His eye sockets smarting his lung holes afarting! It’s his allergies, for crying out loud!
Up on wheels. Now maybe I can get into the interesting stuff !

Oh, the mummys and freaks and the ghouls And zombies cavorting in schools. Are dancing around in the night. Creating a horrible fright. While their flesh drips and gathers in pools.
Minimal effort interior bout done. Frenching in a set of 40 Ford headlight rims, and working on the WEAPON.

I think altering skeletons and bones is what starts the zombie thing in another 15 years or so, isn't it ?

Several years ago. Bob, I found a squirrel skull under some bushes in my yard. It was the inspiration for my 'Rodent' build Later, I aquired some more skulls and I 'embellished them with some large thorns from one of my bonsai trees. I later built a model from a skull that my sister had found. So, yeah, I have a small stash that I've collected. I lots of times save stuff that I think I may later find a use for. In this case the mummified mouse carcass was just the thing for this build.
