A bottle of craft paint from WalMart. 90 cents. Labled "pavement".


Next salvage job is this old tub that was built for another diorama. It had been in a shed that had the doors padlocked and was barely visible thru a window. I brought it out for this garage, even tho I had it inside again, where it wasn't visible either. I may have this sitting out in the side yard, this time.


It needed a new tarp. This foto shows it covered with a single layer of Kleenex and slathered in a really wet coat of thinned down acrylic paint. Extremely fragile. When it dries, I'll fix it some, if I have to.


Back out on the picnic table again, I'm laying down a base coat of dirt. Left over brown acrylic house paint and sprinkled with very economic Florida sifted dirt.

One of the most exiting update posting ever !! Replacing the fence.

When I first built the garage I had made a small planter in front of the scene stopper, "Beecher Meat Co", that held a small, potted, miniature bonsai plant. After razing the building to make a larger lot beside the garage, I had built a planter out of a 6 cyl. block. I kept it outside because it had a live plant (weed) in it. Don't know whatever happened to it.
So, While the fence posts were setting, I thought I'd try another for out front of the garage. It too, will be kept outside to get watered with my bonsai. It has live plants in it. (weeds)

Using the pie-cut sectioned 2010 Challenger model for a reason. My remaining unbuilt kit is  a Challanger street machine. I might want to see what the classic Challenger will look like with a section job !

Hard to believe, but it's even more life like and real looking than before Clay. Awesome work and very inspiring.

Yep. Looks like they swept the place up. Real nice. Maybe some blocks or something under the 40 ford ?
