Drug this home to Geezer's Garage with the shop's pickup; This truck was built using the chassis and fenders of the 29 Lincoln Gangbusters. The cab was scratched on a cowl and body of a 29 RPU. Wheels were cast from a master built on the back half of one of the Gangbuster wire wheels. Back end mostly all sctatched. WIP fotos of this are in my DPMCC Fotki: public.fotki.com/drasticplasticsmcc/1/clay_gratz/1/old-truck/We no sooner got pics of this in front of the garage, and a guy pulled up in his L700 and offered an obscene amount of money for it, Within minutes, it was loaded and gone! BTW, this combo (minus the garage) won a first place plaque at the 09 NSRA Nationals at Tampa last October.

That's the neatest old truck I've seen in a while Geez. I like the solid wheels. How did you do the strapping on the wooden bed ?

I scratched a strip about 5 ' long using styrene and the last of my Grandt Line NBWs. Made a mold and cast myself some.

That is super-sharp, Clay. Everything about it is fantabulous. Alex

Another great job Geezer. I would have expected nothing less from you. The combination of parts and scratch build made for a very interesting and beautiful job. I've always wondered what could be done with the 3 or 4 old Lincolns I got layin around. I seriously doubt I could pull something like this off though.
