This 29 roadster pick up kit is a pretty cool, though basic kit. I have a few of these. Some of you might remember when I was trying to give stuff away a while back with the idea of send me anything you want to or nothing is fine. A few sent me things... I got two of these kits in the mail over the next month or so and I already had 1 or two... So let's trash one... ;D This is kind of what I had in mind. After some careful measurements and a few subtractions and well ok. I kind of eyeballed it a little and decided to scratch build my first front end and chassis. It's my first one so don't laugh at it too much. I really can't decide which engine I like best... The one above is an old nascar engine. My original plan was to set it a bit lower and use the full nascar exaust, but now that it's all lowered, that won't work. But straight exhaust or zoomies... This one has a few less horses, but could still work. Then there is an early flathead that someone painted pink and sent me... I won't name any names, but you were right. I did not have a pink flathead. My question to all you rusters out there is this. Which engine do you like? Greg.

Well, hell. You can't beat a flathead (even if it is pink). Any engine looks good in a beater hot rod !!
