I issued a personal challenge to a friend/brother/member of another forum, and Virgil HAS accepted my challenge, so now the fun begins. I am starting on a "virgin" kit that has stayed sealed until last Thursday night, at which time I opened it just to take photos. Hosted on FotkiHosted on FotkiHosted on FotkiHosted on FotkiOn Friday, I actually opened the bags, layed everything out, and did some studying. Hosted on FotkiThen proceeded to get to work. Hosted on FotkiAh yes....the tools of destruction. Hosted on FotkiRear fenders were cut off to be used later....UNLESS I screw things up. Hosted on FotkiTrunk deck lid opened. Hosted on FotkiFrame cleaned up and rounded. Removed those horrendous mold marks from the inside of the frame rails. Hosted on FotkiOh yeah...if you look at the radiator shell in the lower left corner of my "pink" organizer tray, youll see that it was also opened up. Thanks for looking, Alex

Cool. Do you have a theme to meet, or just build the 32? That's not 'Damn Cranky' you challenged is it/ If so, hope this is a 'stock' build. He's way too innovative!

Thanks, guys. No, there is no theme. Just a personal challenge between Virgil Glover and myself. Build the '32 any way you want.

Both are from Model Car Garage, Dog. Very reasonable and can do several cars.

Thank you all. I should have the rolling chassis done today, and some more interior work as well.

Alex, I've spent 2 hours and probably $200 on my wish list and still haven't found those exhaust flanges or U bolts. Where do they hide them

Alex, I've spent 2 hours and probably $200 on my wish list and still haven't found those exhaust flanges or U bolts. Where do they hide them The only header flanges that I know of are from Detail Masters. They are DM-2250 and DM-2251, I've used them on projects in the past and they work very well adding a great deal of detail with a little bit of effort.
