i've had good luck with Stevens International sanding sticks. anyone have a mail order source for these? and how do they compare to Squadron products sanding sticks that, while about an inch shorter, are also more moderately priced and individually packaged.
thanks,
sp

I picked up some of the Steven's International sanding sticks a few weeks ago while on a business trip to Chicago. I picked up the package of narrow sticks aprox 1/4" wide. While they are nice I feel they are way over priced for what you get.
I buy almost all of my sanding sticks from Sally's Beauty Supply. They sell to professionals as well as the general public. They have sanding sticks in just about any grit you could ever want from 80 up to 2000. They have them in varying width and length as well as square and curved. The pricing averages around $1.89 per stick, but compared to $2 plus for lesser quality from Steven's International, I'll continue to buy locally.
