i want to return the Revell '50 Austin coupe to a street car. i can figure out the headlights and hinging the hood, but don't know what grille could be made to fit. my first thought is photo etch over a cut out in the body. anyone do this? i am not striving for prototypical authenticity, just plausibility!
thanks

If you really wanted to go minimal effort, the new Model King kit has an 'airbrushed' decal for the grille. There might be some photoetch material that could resemble the grille, but I'm not sure. I've always wanted to add a grille to one of these, too!

i did see the decal, but thought i could do better, even if not protoypically correct. i'm thinking about turning it into a Pan-American racer or rally car (period "correct" but not obsessed)
