Here is my just completed rat rod, built for the Build a Beater build off. The kit is the old school AMT roadster kit, with the body channelled over the frame. The interior is box stock, but I added BMF to the seats to replicate duct tape repairs to rips. I also used the Dice shifter from the AMT '40Ford coupe kit. The engine is the AMT Studebaker lump (wanted to use one of them in a hot rod for years!) with a homebuilt triple carb intake. The carbs and exhaust headers are from the AMT '40 Ford sedan kit. The wheels are stock '32 Ford wires with AMT skinny white wall tyres (from the Studebaker kit as well). The grille shell is sectioned and the grille is aluminium mesh. The front axle is the dropped AMT '40 Ford piece.

Thanks for the kind words, I had a blast building this, really got my mojo back on it. It's great being able to paint things quickly ( and with a brush!) and not to have to worry too much about the finish.
