First one for '11. Woot woot!!!! First off... the engine is a '93. I hope I haven't committed some unspeakable sin right there, pretty much all the rest of the rod is up to pre-'59 snuff, so I hope that makes up for it! I will let ya'll be the judge. It is a cut up Orange Blossom cab on a scratchbuilt frame, and the 'trunk' is made from pieces of a broken Jo-Han '63 Olds. The grille is '33 Willys with Merc spotlights as headlamps. The big fat rear tires are actually 1:20 MPC parts, with Revell Saleen wheels. I was going for a 'barn find body on a fresh chassis' kind of vibe. And the engine? It's a '93 Ford Ranger 4.0, backdated a bit with three twos and some wicked pipes... also pirated from the Orange Blossom kit. I'm outta here- It's Miller time! B)

Once again, I had to go to your Fotki site (dial-up), but knowing your work, I knew it would be worth it to see the complete model. This is yet another way cool model in your stable !!!

That is an awesome build. Looks like something you would see at any Billetproof or unfinished rod run.

Looks really terrific. But please re-size you photos not to excede 700X700 as a courtesy for our dial-up members.
Thanks, Alex

IIRC, the 4,0 has its origins from the old german Ford V6 from the mid 60s, so backdating that one may not necessarily be a bad idea. I like this one very much.
