Need a place to store/display the 55 junker, so I took an old license plate frame and some plexiglas scraps and went for it. Clamping the plexiglas with some picture frame clamps. Don't have any clear silicone so am trying model airplane canopy glue. Added a piece of plywood to raise the model up some. Model still sat too low behind the frames barbs, so I added a 1/2" piece of styrofoam covered with sifted dirt. Used latex house paint as an adhesive. Small bit of fencing to lean the hood against. Can't be hiding that nicely rusted engine! Yep, gonna work just fine!
