I think the bone yard is finally done. but maybe, I want to put another car or two on top of the semi trailer. what do you guys think?. with no expectations at all I took the piece to a model car contest ,"Attack of the Plastic", in Delavan,Wisconsin last weekend and to much to my surprise the piece won best of show. also took best non drag race car with my '33 Willy's "roundy round" jalopy and best light truck with my '60 Chevy tow truck. Congrats on the win. I can see it was deserved. As far as adding to it, that's your call. I think that some dioramas I have seen are to busy and the story gets lost. If it ain't broke don't fix it.

Thanks Guys! I have no idea how many hours, started in Jan and was constantly interrupted by my regular job.
I wish I could have taken pics of the contest like some of you guys do but the wife needed the camera that day. Although the show was light on rust, there was some nice models and some even nicer people at the show.Tom

As you can see I decided to place another car, half a Merc anyway, and some other stuff on top of the semi trailer. Any way this build is 2 for 2 as it took "Best of Show" a Gold Medal, "Best Diorama" and "Best use of Creativity in Modeling award" at the IMPS Butch O'Hare Contest in Downers Grove,IL. There were over a thousand entries in all category's and in the end "RUST" took home the hardware. I told a lot of the modelers about the "Rust Bucket Brigade " and Geezerman's baking soda method so maybe we will get a few new members. I was especially proud of the Creativity Award .I couldn't have done without you guys! Attachments:
