Previously built VCG 572 will finally get a home.
'Twas evident right off that this puppy (body) is going to need way more room! Interior wheel wells had to be completely eliminated to make room for all that meat. I will be scratching a frame.
Past experience with this model told me that to get the ill fitting body/top together half way decently would not be possible after painting. So I glued the top, body, and fenders into 1 solid part to be lowered in place at the finish.
On the one I had chopped, I found that it was very difficult to get the rear window in place and had cut out the package tray. It will be easier on this unchopped one, but I removed the package tray anyway. That may help on further assembly also.
