just started this project after gathering parts for month, I have a cool pic to post but do not have permission , after writing to ask permission and receiving no reply from the photographer. anyhow its a 1 1/2 ton 1946 international ,or trying to be one, that I converted from a revell 1941 chevy pick up. Its gonna have snow plows and a speeder crane on the back, some rust of course and its gonna ride the rails. What a beast, no doubt fabricated by the rail yard crew. Attachments:

I like this start with a well aged grill !! Looking forward to it I always regret that work and a move made me give up my start in 0n3 about 25 years ago.

MANY OLD RAIL LINES USED OR CONVERTED WHAT THEY HAD. THIS WILL BE A BEAUTIFUL EXAMPLE OF DOING WHAT U CAN. WE'LL BE WATCHING!

Not bad. I like the front "rail wheels," but would have liked a curved metal plow as they were readily available and more sturdy than wood. This will be an important creation and we'll be waiting for updates. Good so far, and the finish should be great, thanx!

That mashed in grille is perfect. Looks like the snow got deep.

cool, the plow is supposed to metal so maybe a better paint job will solve that. I turned those wheels with an exacto, file and sand paper by putting a screw through the middle of a plastic truck rim, that is backed by a plastic white wall, an then placed the screw end into a power drill, mounted in a vice, to create a sort of lathe situation. then a little green putty and then some more lathe.

Most excellent! It's a surprise there's nothing in back, but that way the frame/suspension shows and that's kinda cool. Thanx!

I think this is one of the best ideas I have seen. I have never seen another modeled. Great work also.

I suppose there's a certain amount of glamour to new stuff. But a good USED piece of equipment has soul !!!
