Mercman's post reminded me of this one. Car was a glue bomb I picked up at a car swap meet. It was so far messed up, I just took it further. Weathered it and planted it Started with some Florida swamp Maple seedlings. Wasn't too happy with the way they were growing the first year, so I replanted with some smaller leaved Chinese Elms. Elm foliage is starting to fill out some more and the iron content in my well water is nicely rusting the model more. I ought to take a new updated foto.

I wonder if you could do this with real plants? Might be pretty neat. Donnie

I'm just getting my plants around for spring. This lives outdoors, so while the canopy is filling out, the elements are attacking the model just as it would on a real junker. Only instead of rusting more, I may need to touch up some areas with paint. The bumper plating that I had weathered is wearing off.

Now you got me thinking that a die cast body would be better. It would weather better than the plastic.
