Little more finessing on the bodywork and I have repainted the wheels.

No hood shows the naked pair of 4 bbl s, so digging in the salvage pile brought out a couple of scoops. Might look a little weird pairing them up. We'll see. Putting a little bit of risers to them also.

Can't wait to see how those Bug Catchers look sitting between the fenders.

Body work done and in final white primer. Dual scoops look kinda weird, but there they are! BTW, That old engine is a resin 'Doomsday Hemi' Cut down a 40 Deluxe grill shell. Fits fairly well..

Thanks, Fellas. Hit another minor slowdown. I have the body in a blue basecoat and want to get that protected before I start messing with graphics on it. Found myself with no reducer for the clear, so will have to make a trip into town. Should have some progress soon.

Hey, I'm back from being without a computer for over a week. Had another operation to remove the broken hardware. It wasn't nearly as bad as the first, and I'm doing fine. Thanks for all your concerns.
Anyway, here's to catch up. Here's the first brushed base for flames.
Now, with the airbrush, I had mixed a color much like Muskmelon for this and the dashboard (40 Ford).
Next, with a really lightened up muskmelon, I finished the front and brush touched up the flames some.
And this is the middle of the grafic that I didn't like when I had finished. I'm gonna try to get it off and do something else.
