Not really a beauty Queen, but a replica Gasser. Saw this photo, while surfing for reference and thought, wouldn't that make a fine build.
Already had a body and parts left over from a Jimmy Flintstone 48 Hearse build, so why not.
Saw on the original, that they removed the front bumper and splash plate, as well as the radiator shroud. Set about doing that.
At first, only found these 2 photos and some other info on the Hot Rod web site.
Later on, I found this on Youtube.

I'm making this beauty as close as I can to the picture. The original had a 265 or 327 engine, which he changed out for a 396 later. I robbed one from the 55 Nomad kit, along with some Gasser front end parts. The dual ram intake is out of the 62 Impala kit.The traction bars and front springs are out of the 55 Street Burner kit. The wheels are period correct Halibrand resins. The body color is Tamiya Camel Yellow.
