Really like the reference car !!! Looks great in yellow, but I know you have a preference (or a coupla gallons of it to use up) for that baby diaper greenish brown you've been using.

It's called Olive Drab and used in the Military allot. I'm making this beauty as close as I can to the picture. The original had a 265 or 327 engine, which he changed out for a 396 later. I robbed one from the 55 Nomad kit, along with some Gasser front end parts. The dual ram intake is out of the 62 Impala kit.The traction bars and front springs are out of the 55 Street Burner kit. The wheels are period correct Halibrand resins. The body color is Tamiya Camel Yellow.

I'm custom making the interior seats, side panels and dash as close as I can to the picture. Used Evergreen half round 242 for the seats.

Thanks Bob and Clay. Painted the interior satin black, put on the door hardware and dash.
Fuel lines, ignition, tach and steering wheel.
Getting close to finished.

Thanks Tom! I have heard that Galaxie will be coming out with a Coupe version of their 48 real soon. They are way too good of model builders to go out of business....... we hope.
