I might throw up my oldie classics in this thread.
I had an internet friend who's hobby is restoring old model Ts. He asked if I could restore a model for him and sent a couple of reference fotos of his work.
When I happily agreed, he mailed me this glue bomb.
Wow! Now here's a challenge ! First order of business was getting it apart.
Making new windshield posts.
Cleaned up and primerted.
Building a new spring perch.
Making a new windshield frame from brass rod.
I got a replacement wheel for the broken one and replaced the plastic spokes with wire,.
Made top bows with brass rod.
Painted and starting to build a bed.
Detailing the engine.
The finished model. I won a MOM on Sharks Realm with this. When I mailed it back to Blue, he was ecstatic!
