This is a kit bash using the old Revell RPU kit and the new '29 roadster. I knew everyone and their brother would be building the roadster, so I had to get the jump on them and do something different. I used the extra floor board in the roadster kit for this. I shortened the bed and added real wood. Scratch built gas tank. I printed a collage of pulp fiction book covers and used them as door panel inserts. Wheels and tires from the Sock-it-to-Me Corvette. I tired for a bare metal finish using just metallic silver on rough sanded panels and a dark wash over the top. I used some weathering poweres for the exhaust stain and rust on the cab floor. The '29 roadster kit is highly recommended.
