This is a small selection that I had saved from the care package quite a while back. Going to see if I can come up with something from it.
Big search for some 'big n' little tires" from the large selection I have in the box at the rear left. Then a search for some suitable wheels. Couldn't find a matched pair that I liked, so I'll be going with a Cragar type in the rear and a set of spoked on the front. Next, a massive search for some rear rims that will go with the backing plates that are on the axle ends . I had bypassed the large (32) frame and will be modifying a smaller '29 type with a suicide front end. I have brought out a Revell parts pac Pontiac engine and have it well on it's way. The parts pac is one of several I got YEARS ago, and have shunned them because at 1:25 they all seem smaller. But times are lean, so here it comes. I had robbed this of it's exhaust and can't come up with anything in the exhaust salvage bin yet, that'll fit. But, that'll be a problem to solve later.

Mmmmm. I see a track nose. That x frame looks like it's melting.

Bob, That track nose came from an Ala Cart. I had filled in the indentations on the sides that housed quad headlights.
And, that X frame was pretty beat up. 'Twas easier to look foe something else.
The chromed Cragars had spinner knock off glued on to them pretty well, and I needed some hubcaps for the front wires. So, I went to a small drawer that had odds n' ends in it. I thought I recalled that there might be some old slot car threaded spinners. Sure enough. Man, these had to be from the 60's. The old pack rat comes thru again !

Rear end is now Z'd.
Looking at the interior tub, I'll have to rebuild the damaged rear edge.

After 'fixing' the rear of the tub, I discover that it doesn't match up with thje body at all !
So. that. and dropping the body down over the frame leads me to abandon the idea of using the tub. I'll have to "Geezer" the interior. I may try to save the seat portion of it.

Looks good like that. Need some felt to make a custom door panel ?

Door panels in the plan, Bob. The firewall has been recessed and it clears the newly wired and installed magnito.

Nothing much accomplished yesterday. I spent almost the entire day scrounging thru the salvage seeing if I could come up with a console of some sort. I found a unknown something that I'm messing with. Will have to see how it will pan out. I have a junk floorboard fitted under it.

Like your choice of Mill also. Interested to see the front grill choice.

I am fitting a '50 Ford windshield in kind of laid back Duval look (hopefully), and am using a Ala Cart track nose that I have filled in the side indentations.
In the background is my sectioned Challenger that I repainted. It's pretty well cured now and I'll have to be getting back on it soon, but I'm enjoying this roadster at the present !

That green looks better. The windshield looks a little big so far, but I love that duval look.

Fitting the 50 Ford windshield to the 32 cowl proved to be a chore. I kept adding to the bottom part, but got to be getting too big. I went thru the salvage and found a split window Corvette with a decent windshield frame. It was small enough, but I didn't like the look. I like the look of the 50, so i'm going back to it and see if I can come up with something I can live with. Trying some different way to mount it. So it's still in the works.

Out of curiosity, was wondering how the '63 Vet rear window would look on it.

Carbs and fuel pump on the engine. I have decided to go with One Shot fire red for color, so, I had to repaint the interior console and dash.
