OK. Thumbed thru a couple of old HR mags looking for a glimpse of a bare Nekkid inner door panel. Sensed that was going nowhere fast. So back to imagineering, and try to make a more realistic looking panel, still throwing anal authenticity out the window. Taking Zebuckster's observation to heart, I leaned the mechanism up some. This'll be a go. I'll be putting the first panel on the right side door that will not open. It's crappy and won't match, but in the dim, dark reaches of the interior, imagine the joy of some nitpicking, rivit counter when they discover it !!

Getting in a little more progress. >:(Gaps between the dualie tires were way off, so I pulled them apart, and for probably the first time ever, I thought " Why do I fool with stuff that's so completely f.. buggered up"? If this were a 'nice' model, they would have to be thrown away !! Anyway, I'm working on filling all the space that the channel job leaves. The floorboard is styrene but the sides and lower pan is made from leftover business cards soaked with super glue. Now that the cardstock is nice and stiff, I'll cut the part out that's between the frame rails so the drive shaft and floorboard bottom can be seen. Not that I ever detail the underside much. And with the cab in place.

It's creepin along, Jody. Little things, little things. I feel it's mundane to post painting a radiator, or putting in clutch/brake pedals, etc. I'm starting to look at the body. Found that a 40 Ford dashboard fits almost perfectly.
Lot going on right at this time. finishing up painting a toiletseat for my daughters anniversary, the County fair (Bonsai club has a booth there), family coming down from Indiana for spring break, stuff like that.

OK, Razz away ! At least I'm not posting umpteen other builds while MY dual blower car sets rotting away. I took a progress foto last night, but evidently mis filed it. I'll get another soon. Once I attached the engine firmly in place I found the floorboard was off, and that made for a lot of reworking to get the cab down where I want it. Bummer!

Links from Fotki messing up I'll try my latest update ! Going is slo, but I'm getting all the marbles lined up and have taken it to the garage where the engine is being permanantly worked together. Little gremlens pop up that have to be resolved as I go. Y'all probably know how that works.
