Before I start back on the dio, I'm gonna spend some of my MOY winner choices, from Zbucksters. zbuckstersmodelcars.com/index.cgiThis kit was a curbside (no engine), but I had picked out a Gibson pro stock Hemi to go with it. Going Pro Street.

I am on board for this one. I love them steam rollers. "Long Live Pro Street."

Here's the Gibson block sitting on the shelf where an engine bay should be Altho I think this is the best looking of the retro-muscle cars, It still looks too boxy (Zamboni) for my tastes. I'm considering a modest pie section job.

Bit the bullet, had Igor get out the sawzall. Not wanting to get too drastic. That's 3/32" right behind the front wheel well. Then I removed 1/8" below the headlight/grill opening. Now to patch everything up. I'll make fhe framework to fit this configuration (I hope) Now it looks a little butt heavy, but I want it identifyable. "Big butt mamas are back in style again" taj mahal

Looks great Clay. The pie cut was a sweet idea.

Little unsure what to do on the chassis. This may be a semi curbside. Trying to make some tubs that will show in the interior. Only pill bottle I have the right size is crap. Hard to get something to stick to it

SOMEBODY is vacationing up North for a while Now I can use her stove with impunity. And, I have some decent styrene to make tubs from now.

Here's the new homemade tubs. ( flaw on the right one is where Igor, the clumsy bastid, bumped the wet primer).

Cut off his beer for a week. I like the rivets.

very nice details, and I see while the stove can be used the pots and pans can not. tom

I'm back to work. As you can see, I'm utilizing the interior tub as part of the frame. Another, no 'view from the sewer' model. Having to cobble up a differential from scrap and scratching.

Uni-body Construction. I can remember Chrysler advertising that on TV in the 1960's. Looking good Clay.

On to a curbside rear end. Only had the sides of the Differential in my 'salvage'. PO had removed the rear and front of it. I scratched the rear plate and made the front using a bronze slot car bushing (from the 60's). My salvage yard is completely devoid of universal joints
