..progress report..........iron workers showed up today!! .......got them measured and cut to length. Their ready for primer and paint once I decide what color I want. Also thinking about leaving the 'H' columns their current length, seriously considering a second floor.... ...thanks for looking.........stay tuned..........

Looking great !! You showed your base board warping. Probably a good point to address to others - to check compatability of materials. I built my 1st Geezer's Garage using foam board as base for the walls. I had to heavily add reinforcement on the backside (inside) as I glued on the stripwood facing on the front and side walls! When I take it outside in the sun for fotos, the top and backwall, which are plain black foamboard, curl up horribly! They settle back when temperatures even out, but still is a problem to deal with.

..you make a great point geezerman....it's such a pain in the butt when you get something going or even finished only to have go bad on ya. Something I've been trying to do more often is to do 'test' pieces if I'm not sure. That's saved me a few times from disaster! As for my base..I knew better, just got inpatient, lesson learned!!

Sweet ! Only way you could get those cast iron pipes anymore realistic is to pack the joints with jute and solder them !!
