Looks like he really ripped it, didn't he. I'm sure it will turn out fine with you in charge. You are bigger than he is, right ? I've always heard you were a bit of a big wig of some sort...

The body is back together and the hood has been pancaked. That worked out pretty well.

Well, 4 steps backward today ! I tried out the hood to see if if would clear the injector stacks. It did, but just barely. Tried the body without the channeled floor board and liked the way it set lower.
Couple of days ago, I tried to section one of the interior sidewalls and rendered it FUBAR. So was ready to compensate somehow. This will be another of my minimal effort interiors. Wanting to set it lower, I have tackled the channeled floor board and it is now in pieces !Meanwhile, knowing this will conflict with those injector stacks, I opened the hood and the stacks will be showing.
I have a lot of work ahead getting this stance how I want it.

The pic with the hood and floorboard sitting in front looks great for the stance. This is really looking good. Did you ever do a thread for sonofabeach ? I can't find it if you did.

The dent in the fender, the wood, the surfboards, all of it is great. I wonder how I missed this one, though I'm getting old enough that it might be great again.

Doing some fine tuning sanding, I got off track. Did'ja ever start doing something and then regret it because you'll have to do the rest like it? Thought I'd shave the door handles on the wood trim.
Wanted to try nail polish for the paint. (hadn't ever done that yet). thought I'd find a nice dark metallic red. The cosmetic counter had a couple of aisles of the crap. Most of it claimed to be 'gel'. That didn't sound so good to me either on my primer nor my air brush. Found one rack that wasn't 'gel' and the girl at the counter assured that it could be reduced with acetone. Got my little jar home and tried it on a scrap and it looked outrageously HOT PINK (pearl). Practiced on a couple of spoons, and sure enough.... too hot pink on the white Duolicolor primer, but on my Ace hardware red oxide primer, it looked a lot better.
I'll have to get my wood part finished before I try that !!

It's funny how nail polish is almost a pearl and so translucent. The color varies wildly by the base coat under it.
