Interesting work this morning. I have drilled out the links in the trailer's safety chains. The gaudy chrome trailer hitch is removable. Mounts on the body with a pin.

The woody is done 'cept for one last detail. I discovered a windshield visor that had been detached, in the bottom of the box. It wasn't mentioned in the instructions. I think it'll help the stark appearance above the windshield and help with the long look. Just has to have a couple of prominent sink holes (that were thoughtfully put on the top side) fixed, and then painted.

Well. DUH !! Seems like my newly discovered 'visor' is actusaly the front interior piece. Let's see if I can cleverly convert it to an outside visor. 1st step is to lengthen it about 3/16"

Very nice work thus far. Can't wait to see how the visor turns out.

Interior piece didn't work out so well ! Some diligent rummaging in a box of salvage did reward me with a visor from the 41 Chev PU !! A 3/16" addition to the center and I think I have it now!
